The Walking Stick Golf Course was rated 4 stars by Golf Digest Magazine. Some of the tournaments that they have hosted many major tournaments. It will host the 2006 US Women's Amateur Public Links Championship. It offers four tees for every hole so any level of expertise can play. Fees can range anywhere from $22 to $30 for 18 hole play, with twilight rates (after 3:30pm) ranging from $14.25 for residents to $17.25 for non-residents. Desert Hawk Golf Course was designed by Johnny Bulla in 1972. Purchased by the County of Pueblo in 1999, the course was completely renovated to include a new irrigation system. Green fees range from $20 to $28 for 18 hole play, with twilight rates (after 3:30pm) ranging from $13.25 for residents to $16.25 for non-residents. The Elmwood Golf Course was originally designed and built in the early 1900's but has recently undergone a $2 million renovation. Elmwood hosted the Southern Colorado Open from 1960-1964. Private Golf Courses
The golf course at the Pueblo Country Clubwas designed by Henry Hughes and opened in 1903. This course is open year round. Collared shirts and spikeless shoes are required for play; no denim allowed. You must call three days in advance for reservations (719-542-2941). They have a driving range, putting green, chipping green, dining room, locker rooms, snack bar and lounge on site. Fees range from $65-$75.
